The best thing I ever did

The best thing I ever did, and am doing 😃. I thought I just had to accept my menopausal belly and lack of muscle as a sign of my age. But decided that in my 50th year I’d give this a try to see if I could take control of my spiralling waist line and lack of strength and energy. Wow! I have been committed and stuck to the process, and it has worked. I’ve lost over 1.5stone in 3 months and dropped 2 dress sizes. My energy levels have improved, I feel more in control mentally, so much stronger, fitter and healthier. The team at movement are amazing supports. Quietly there in the background guiding you every step of the way and pushing you to be the best version of you! It’s a lovely group environment, with like minded people, who are all supportive. I still enjoy going out at weekends, eating, and sometimes having a drink.

After joining Movement Health and Fitness over a year ago, I was well overweight and obese. I knew I had a long road ahead. I struggled with the exercises and getting the correct movements at first. However, through coaching and consistently attending week in, week out, I got there—or at least got better—and it enabled me to do everything I needed to. This has been a constant evolution with the help and guidance of Aaron and Kerrie. I've dropped nearly 5 stone over this time. I'm now in good shape and weight, and I no longer get out of breath walking upstairs. And the best part? I still enjoy going out at weekends, eating, and sometimes having a drink. 26kg Lost!

I signed on to Movement's 6 week intro course after I realised on my honeymoon I was tired of feeling tired, weak, and unhappy with myself. It's the best investment I've ever made in myself. Between the fun, structured workouts, the support and care from my coach Kerrie, and the new friends I've made at the gym, I've noticed no end of improvements. Both in my weight, my strength, and my self confidence. I've set myself weight loss goals before, but with the support of Kerrie and the Movement team, it's the first time I've had so much fun on the journey. At the end of the 6 weeks, I immediately signed up for a full year as I have complete faith that with Kerrie's support I'll meet my weight loss and strength goals.
